Korean Cultural Centre

Cultural institution for the promotion of Korean culture.

The Korean Cultural Centre is a cultural institute regulated by the Korean Government to develop cultural relations between this Asian country and Spain. The centre is located in a completely renovated, neoclassical building on Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana, close to Plaza de Colón.

It houses the Han-ul Gallery, a 207 square metre exhibition space, a modern library, with a wide range of bibliographic material about Korea, and an open-plan, multi-purpose room with a capacity for 70 to 80 people.

In addition, it has classrooms and workshops, a reception area, a kitchen and offices. The centre’s main activities include teaching Hangul and holding workshops on Korean culture.
