Pavón Teatro Kamikaze

Teatro popular en edificio único de estilo art-decó.

Pavón Teatro Kamikaze, inaugurated in 1925, is one of the first buildings in Madrid to be entirely built in the Art Deco style.

An architectural landmark of the Lavapiés neighbourhood, it is noteworthy for its brightly coloured decoration with Art Deco details, its Rationalist shape and its clock tower. Some of the most noteworthy spaces of the Teatro Kamikaze are:

La Sala, a fully equipped performance space with a capacity for 400 people.
Gallinero, the small room of the theatre, an open-plan and versatile space with a capacity for 80 people.
Ambigú, a multi-purpose space and bar in which theatre goes beyond the stage, and where something is always going on.
The Terrace, a unique space with views over the Rastro and the Madrid sky, in which concerts and themed nights take place.
