Plaza Don Antonio de Andrés
A pedestrian square in another historical part of the city.
Plaza Don Antonio de Andrés is the nerve centre of the historical town of Vicálvaro. A pedestrian square with a rather irregular layout, with trees and different types of urban furniture.
The statue in the centre of the square is a tribute to the doctor who gives his name to the space. There are also several shops, bars and restaurants in an environment of single-story houses and small blocks of flats.
We also find an official building, the District of Vicálvaro Town Council and a historical vestige, the image at the far end of the Parish Church of Santa María la Antigua. An image of a village square as a meeting place for neighbours and for the celebration of public events.
